Meet the members behind SWVA Tax & Accounting. We are here to help you succeed!
I'm Elisa Arnold, a dedicated tax professional and the proud owner of SWVA Tax & Accounting in the vibrant town of Dublin, VA. With 20 years of experience, I specialize in meeting the unique needs of small businesses, helping entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of taxes and business development. My passion for helping business owners thrive was heightened by my early experiences in the tax field, starting in a large retail store and then moving to local firms before launching my own practice in 2009 during the recession—a challenge that taught me to swim really hard.
I have built a robust network of trusted professional resources over the years, ranging from attorneys and financial advisors to specialized accountants and industry experts. My extensive connections allow me to refer clients to the right experts for more specific or complex situations, ensuring they receive the best possible guidance and support. Whether it's navigating legal issues, optimizing investments, or handling intricate tax matters, my network enables me to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.
As a certified Enrolled Agent, I am fully equipped to provide top-notch services across various industries. I am deeply committed to continuing education, regularly attending professional development courses and staying up to date with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure I provide the highest level of service and expertise to my clients.
I am a member of the following organizations:
NATP
NAEA
VA Society of Enrolled Agents
VA Chapter NATP
Beyond professional pursuits, I’m also a single mom to two wonderful boys, aged 18 and 21, who bring immense joy and inspiration to my life. Family is everything to me, and I am fortunate to work closely with my two sisters and our mom. Together, we form a close-knit team fondly known as the "Golden Girls," sharing laughter, love, and unwavering support through life's ups and downs.
In my leisure time, you'll often find me engaging with nature, whether camping along the serene James River or swimming in Goshen Pass. These moments of solitude are not only rejuvenating but also provide me with clarity and a refreshed perspective that I bring back to my professional and personal endeavors.
I am deeply committed to my community and beyond, actively volunteering in initiatives that support the homeless and unsheltered, animal rescues, and veterans. These efforts are a vital part of my life as I strive to create a more compassionate and inclusive world.
My ultimate goal is to make a difference—through my tax services tailored to small businesses, my support for those in need, or my advocacy for animal welfare. If you're a small business owner seeking a compassionate, experienced tax professional who understands your unique challenges, I'm here to support you. Let's navigate the complex tax landscape together and set your business up for success. Additionally, if you share my passion for creating positive change or wish to explore opportunities to support our community and animal welfare, I'd love to connect and collaborate.
